Background
Linda is a senior manager in the Tax Department.  She has been with the founding partners of the firm for over 29 years, including eleven years as a manager with BDO Seidman prior to the formation of Lougen, Valenti, Bookbinder & Weintraub LLP.  She works in a variety of industries including medical practices and other professional service organizations, retail establishments, and manufacturing companies.

Linda also serves the firm by developing and maintaining internal procedures to increase the efficiency and quality in which we serve our clients.

For the Record
  • Proven record in developing tax planning strategies that maximize tax savings for the client.
  • Identified prohibited transactions under the Department of Labor's rules for employee benefit plans and worked with clients to put procedures in place to minimize these types of transactions.
  • Successfully defended all employee benefit plans that were audited by the IRS.
  • Worked with partner group to develop and create customized compensation plans for professional services firms.
