Carolyn D. Valenti, CPA is a partner at LVBW and serves as the director of the firm’s tax practice. Carolyn brings over three decades of experience to a diverse client base by adding valuable insight to tax planning and business consulting with a combination of creative and practical advice. She works with privately owned U.S and Canadian businesses, and their owners within a variety of industries.

Professional Background

Ms. Valenti’s areas of practice include; income tax planning and compliance for partnerships, corporations, and individuals, cross border services, business acquisition and disposition planning, business exit and succession planning, and estate and retirement planning. In July of 2000, Carolyn and her partners bought the Buffalo office of the national accounting firm, BDO Seidman, to form Lougen, Valenti, Bookbinder & Weintraub LLP.

Education and Associations

Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude degree from State University of New York at Buffalo. She is an active member of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
