I started at LVBW in January 2008 as a staff account.  I was making the transition from banking and mortgage to accounting.  I went back to school for accounting because it came naturally to me in the past and I saw a better future in accounting than mortgage. 

LVBW was recommended to me by one of my professors at Cansius.  I chose LVBW based on the people I met during my interview, the size of the firm, and the location of the firm.  I did not want to work for a large firm and I preferred to work for a firm closer to home.  I have stayed at LVBW because of the people I work with, the advancement opportunities, the personal and professional growth, and the flexibility to change my hours around my kids' school events. 

WHY LVBW?
 Being a mid-size firm offers the experience to work with large companies, while not sacrificing family/personal life that is required with large firms. The flexibility, learning opportunities, and interactions with clients have helped me grow both professionally and personally.
