I began my career in public accounting in January 2000 after graduating from College.  I came to work for BDO Seidman, LLP in Buffalo six months before the partners bought the local office of BDO and LVBW was born. 

I decided to become a member of the team after graduation largely due to the size of the firm: not too big to get lost in but big enough to provide me with all the tools I needed to grow and develop my career. I have stayed with LVBW because of the daily interactions with my colleagues (friends), ability to interact with clients at all levels and the fact that I am encouraged to take ownership in all client relationships.  I feel appreciated and valued at the firm.

BEST PART OF THE JOB:
I enjoy coming to work every day.  (Well almost, tax season can be a grind, but I still love it.) The interpersonal relationships that I have developed within the firm and with clients have been wonderful and the knowledge that I have gained from the resources within the firm have been highly beneficial in the first 10 years of my career.  The partners treat employees as family and expect us to keep a solid work-life balance.  The flexibility that I have enjoyed to both get the work done while making time for “life”, family and friends has been crucial in my life : the partners do a fantastic job being open minded and allowing for flexible working conditions.  I look forward to my future growth and development here at LVBW
