J. Kincaid, CPA is a partner at LVBW and concentrates his services in auditing and accounting for a wide variety of closely held clients. J is responsible for audits, reviews, and compilations on financial statements. Throughout his professional career, he has focused on identifying and serving the needs of several industries including; construction, manufacturing, petroleum refining, and mortgage banking.

Professional Background

Mr. Kincaid has instituted the use of statistical sampling resulting in an increased reliability of samples while reducing sample sizes and client time and resources spent on gathering audit information. J leads the audit team in using the firm’s data extraction and analysis tools. These resources allow the firm to download client accounting data for various analyses often resulting in substantial time savings for clients’ accounting personnel as they prepare for an audit.

Education and Associations

J holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from State University of New York at Fredonia. He currently serves on the boards of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara , and the Southern Tier, and the ECC Foundation. J also belongs to the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), the Affordable Housing Association of CPAs (AHACPA), and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
