MARTIN C. LOUGEN, JR., CPA, Partner

Martin C. Lougen, Jr. concentrates on providing accounting, auditing, tax planning and business consulting services to closely-held family owned companies. His experience includes work in the real estate, construction, mining, manufacturing, and retail industries as well as with not-for-profit and service organizations.
Martin is a graduate of Canisius College. A CPA since 1974, he serves as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Financial Planning Counselors of Western New York, Buffalo Executives’ Association (BEA), as well as the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and the Construction Exchange of Buffalo and Western New York, which serves contractors throughout the Western New York area. His prior experience includes working for and serving as a partner in a national accounting firm.
Among his many civic and community activities, Marty currently serves on the Canisius College Council on Accountancy and is a member of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership and the Clarence Chamber of Commerce. Previous service includes membership on the Canisius College Board of Regents and the Board of Education of the Diocese of Buffalo.

A partner in the Tax Department of LVBW, Carolyn has in-depth experience in the areas of planning and compliance. A trusted advisor to privately-owned businesses in a wide range of industries, the scope of her specializations include real estate, construction, retail, distribution and manufacturing industries, service organizations and healthcare practices.
A CPA since 1980, Carolyn graduated magna cum laude in 1978 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She invests her time and skills in a number of professional and community organizations. Carolyn is the treasurer of the Western New York Women’s Fund and serves on the Board of Directors for the Buffalo/Niagara Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Her prior experience includes working for and serving as a partner in a national accounting firm.
Her professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs. She is past president and current member of the Financial Planning Counselors of Western New York.
KEITH R. BOOKBINDER, CPA, Partner

Keith Bookbinder has been assisting closely-held and family-owned businesses by providing a wide range of consulting and tax services since 1978. His “hands on” approach to working closely with his clients allows him the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of their business operations and to assist these businesses with the many challenges they face day to day.
As one of LVBW’s tax partners, Keith spends much of his time advising clients in the areas of corporate and personal tax planning, retirement and estate planning, structuring of transactions for various acquisitions, and dispositions of businesses. Keith's prior experience includes working for and serving as a partner in a national accounting firm.
Keith serves a number of industries including physician practices, construction, wholesale and retail, manufacturing, not-for-profits, as well as service organizations.
Giving back to the community is an important role that Keith aspires to. Keith has been active in numerous business and charitable organizations throughout the years. His current affiliations include Amherst Senior Citizens Foundation, Amherst Chamber of Commerce, Infotech Niagara, New York State Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs. He lives in Williamsville with his wife and their two teenage sons.
DANIEL B. WEINTRAUB, CPA, Partner

Daniel B. Weintraub, CPA, graduated summa cum laude in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dan serves as the Director of the Firm’s Accounting and Auditing Practice and is responsible for the management of the Firm’s quality control and attest services to clients, as well as compliance with applicable professional standards. Dan’s prior experience includes working for and serving as a partner in a national accounting firm.
Dan concentrates on providing accounting, auditing, and corporate and individual tax planning and consulting to private companies and their owners. During his professional career, he has obtained a broad background in manufacturing, real estate development, construction, distribution, mortgage lending, home health care, not-for-profit and employee benefit plans.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Buffalo Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he serves on the Relations with the Legal Community Committee. His professional and civic memberships include the Construction Exchange of Buffalo and Western New York, the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and as a Board Member of Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled, Inc.
J. KINCAID, CPA, Partner

J concentrates in auditing and accounting, consulting and tax work for a wide variety of closely-held clients. Throughout his professional career, he has focused on identifying and serving the needs of several industries, including manufacturing, construction, home health care, and mortgage banking.
He obtained a BS in Accounting from The State University of New York at Fredonia. J is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a member of Affordable Housing Association of CPAs (AHACPA), and is active in the United Way. A native of Syracuse, he and his wife have three children and reside in Orchard Park , NY.
