Designated Officials have from July 15 until July 29, 2026 to revalidate their role to maintain access to their IRS Business Tax Account.
Designated Officials include officers (President, VP, CEO, CFO, COO, Secretary, Treasurer) or a managing member of the entity. If multiple officials have an account, then each one will need to sign in and renew their role.
If your S or C Corporation Business Tax Account is not renewed by July 29th, you may lose access to your account and have to request access again.
Where to go:
Business Tax Account | Internal Revenue Service has all the resources to allow officials to sign in and renew their accounts. If you are registered with multiple entities, you will be able to access all of them through your Business Tax Account.
